Brighton Meadows Equestrian Center (BMEC) is uniquely located in the heart of Holladay, Utah. We offer youth summer camps from June through August and riding instruction for all ages, all year.
Brighton Meadows is now a business supporting Windhorse Relations, Inc. 501(3)(c), “Where Heart Meets Horse.” All our activities are focused on the love of the horse- horsemanship. The word Mustang comes from the Spanish word, Mestango, which means “without ownership.” Following that tradition, Brighton Meadows supports the American Wild Horse and provides an all-encompassing experience for non-horse owners. Non-ownership provides an atmosphere of fun and community.
BMEC mustangs will not attend off-sight competitions. However BMEC students have always been selected for college teams, won major East and West Coast championships, become equine professionals and have become local champions. BMEC offers the best instruction available.
The cost of maintaining a horse and learning horsemanship, many times, is prohibitive. BMEC offers a unique, comprehensive horsemanship curriculum comparative to any college program for less than the cost of only boarding a horse per year. A student can learn on an excellent teacher and have a barn full of more advanced horses to continue their progress. Our intention is to provide this character building experience to as many students as possible.
